Thirty minutes with an engineer, before any of the rest of it.
Most of this site asks you to submit a requirement. That assumes you have already decided what you need, and often the honest position is that you are still working that out. This is the step in between: a half-hour conversation about a decision you are weighing, with someone who would actually do the work.
What the half hour is
- A technical conversation with a senior engineer — not a qualification call routed to a salesperson who takes notes and books a second meeting.
- Yours to direct. Bring an architecture you are unsure about, a build-or-buy question, a platform choice, an estimate that looks wrong, or a problem you cannot yet name.
- Useful whether or not you engage us. If the answer is that you do not need a supplier for this, that is a legitimate outcome of the call and we will say so.
- Free, and not a trial of anything. There is no follow-up sequence and no second call you have to decline.
What it is not
Thirty minutes is not enough time to review a codebase, produce an estimate you could take to a board, or give advice that carries liability. Where a question genuinely needs more than half an hour, we will tell you that during the call rather than afterwards — and tell you roughly what it would take, whoever ends up doing it.
How it is arranged
Send the form below and we acknowledge within two business days with times that suit your time zone. MENTARA operates from Hyderabad, India, and we schedule around your working hours rather than ours. No preparation is expected — if you would rather not write down the topic in advance, leave that field blank.
Already know what you need? Submit your requirement instead, and one accountable owner comes back with a recommended path forward.
